On January 30, the Serve the Brave committee went to Villa Pardoes to bake pancakes. Villa Pardoes is a holiday residence in Kaatsheuvel for seriously, potentially life-threatening, sick children.
Together with their parents, brothers and sisters, they experience a week-long holiday for free. Villa Pardoes focuses on sick children from the Netherlands in the age category of 4 to 12 years old.
A pancake festival is always held on Thursday evenings and our volunteers were more than happy to take care of it!
Four volunteers have baked the pancakes. As you can see in the pictures below, not every Serve volunteer had the ”pancake baking talent”. 🙂
Hereby we would like to thank the volunteers and Villa Pardoes! We found this a beautiful and rewarding experience.
